Of the many names mentioned in the last few weeks as possible targets, a couple could sign on the dotted line soon.
Gary Bollen signed for United a year ago and is now out of favour with the new management at Tannadice. The thirty year old left back would be cover for Stevie Hammell in the event of his departure.
