Kinniburgh Signs Deal

William Kinniburgh has been in and around the first team for a wee while now and he turned in some very solid performances earlier this season. He has since been rested in favour of the more experienced David Partridge but it is still pleasing to hear that he has signed a contract extension until May 2008.

This means that along with other talented youngsters Paul Quinn and David Clarkson, he will be here for the forseeable future.

Terry Butcher is probably one the best people to be in charge of bringing on the young central defender and has already made comparisons with the way he broke into the side at Ipswich many years ago.

William has already scored one goal for Motherwell but if he continues to develop the potential he has shown, he will be very good at keeping them out at the other end!
