Quinn enjoys his goal
A seat on the bus north will have to be found for one Bob Malcolm who signed up on Tuesday. He arrives via Rangers and Derby and will be well known to Fir Park regulars.

Aberdeen have been dismal in the league recently and have plunged down the table. Their defence seems to have fallen apart as they are conceding goals by the bucket load but they do still have some dangerous players and we cannot take anything for granted. Aluko and Mackie both have the pace to trouble our defence while Miller seems to be enjoying his best season in a while. Severin and Nicholson make tough opponents in the centre of midfield if they are on their game and we will need to match the effort of a team getting close to desperation.

An attack last time at Pittodrie

But there is no reason to think we can't do that. We defeated the Dons 2-1 away already and dismantled them with a stunning first half performance in the last match between the sides at Fir Park. The big concern will be over Hughes once more after he was withdrawn from the Hearts match but we can hope that was just because the game clearly did not suit his style. Assuming Hughes makes it the only other question mark will be over Clarkson who was subbed after being clattered and if he doesn't come through we have an interesting question to answer. Do we keep the 4-3-3 or do we bring in another midfielder to try and keep things tight? It would seem foolish to change a winning formula but showing discretion is sometimes the better part of valour.

This has all the makings of a hard match and it is unlikely to be a classic. It will have a huge bearing on where we end this season though and we must do everything we can to come out on top. A result of 2-0 to us would go down nicely.
