The Motherwell Supporters' Trust

There will be a public meeting to confirm the constitution of the Motherwell Supporters’ Trust. The steering group will be on hand to answer questions about the future of the Trust and the current position of the WWS .

Trust the fans
The main aim of the Trust will be the representation of fans’ views to the new board. The organisation will be democratic, open and accountable. A good turnout on Tuesday night is needed to give the Trust a flying start.

It is hoped that the meeting will be addressed by James Proctor, the Supporters Direct caseworker for Scotland. Martin Rose will then give specific details about the Motherwell trust and we’ll be one step closer to the official formation of the group.

After questions about the Trust have been answered there will be an update about the WWS campaign. This will probably include a financial statement, an outline of the 5-a-side competition at the end of June and the battle of the bands at the beginning of August and any other events and ideas that have been kicking around.

If the plans are agreed, fans will be able to apply for membership of the Trust and the constitution will be forwarded to the Registrar for formal approval.

Any other competent business will be dealt with and then everyone will be free to go home!

The bar will be open and fans are encouraged to arrive at around 7.30pm for an 8pm start.
