'Well make double signing move

Motherwell made the first inward moves of the summer transfer market on Friday with English striker Alex Fisher and Burundi midfielder Gael Bigirimana signing up.

Both players signed on two-year deals, arriving from Inverness Caley Thistle and Coventry City respectively. Both were relegated last season...

Fisher is a journeyman forward but at least finished the last campaign with a strong scoring streak. He netted four times against us in the run-in, a factor no doubt in impressing manager Stephen Robinson.

Bigirimana seems to have had more potential early in his career with a big-money move to Newcastle not working out. He could have played against us in the 2015 play-offs when on loan to Rangers but failed to make an appearance in Glasgow due to illness.

Stattos will be checking to see if Burundi have been represented in the Scottish leagues previously!

We wish both players well and look forward to Robinson's next moves in strengthening the squad.
