Motherwell paired with St Mirren in the Premier Sports Cup semi-final.
The Steelmen’s triumph at Pittodrie on Saturday earned a League Cup Hampden meeting with the Buddies. The draw, which took place after the Partick Thistle v Celtic quarter-final on Sunday afternoon was made at Firhill by Stephen Craigan.
The full draw is
Motherwell v St Mirren
Celtic v Rangers
The fixtures will be played at Hampden on the weekend of 1,2 November.

It will be a quick return to the national stadium for Motherwell as they faced Rangers at the same stage of the competition last year. Lennon Miller led the team out on that occasion but progress was ended after a 2-1 defeat.
Jens Berthel Askou has taken Motherwell to a national semi-final after only a few months in the manager’s hot seat. He has made a huge impression with the fans loving the exciting brand of football on offer.
Before he has a chance to take us to the final Motherwell face Aberdeen (again) next Saturday before October’s opponents; Celtic, Falkirk, Livingston and Dundee United. The scheduled fixture with Hibs on 1 November will be rescheduled.
Bring it on!
