Motherwell will face the Danish champions in a July friendly.
According to AGF the teams will meet in Aarhus on Sunday, 5 July with a 1pm kick-off.
The 25/26 Superliga Table finished with Aarhus seven points clear. There’s no doubt that they will provide tough opposition for the Steelmen as the (yet to be revealed) new manager gears up for the new campaign.
Motherwell have yet to
confirm the match.** It would not be a
surprise if the initial arrangement was made through the Jens Berthel Askou
contact book.
Flights to Aarhus, on Denmark’s west coast, can be made direct from London Stansted with Ryanair.
**Update: Match confirmed . Motherwell will include the game as part of a training camp in Denmark. The squad will depart on Monday 29 June and will return on Monday 6 July.
