In recent weeks we have had the misfortune to be away to both members of the old firm. First, we were at Celtic Park. The South-East corner offered different views depending on where your seat was. The Main Stand got in the way a bit if you were at the back left but apart from that wasn't bad. Interestingly enough, two of our three seats didn't have bottoms and one of them didn't exist! When questioned a steward said " Daft Computer. " and told us to sit anywhere. As there were 900 seats unsold this was didn't present a problem but what would have happened if we had sold out our allocation?

The game started with the expected Celtic onslaught, but due to some great saves from Scott Howie we kept it at 0-0. As the game went on, Celtic didn't score and we grew in confidence. Before half time May and Arnott had missed great chances to give us the lead. In the second half we played mainly on the break but never looked like scoring. Marshall messed up the back pass and young Lee raced towards goal before being brought down. The goalie was sent off but we didn't score. We looked good for a point until the 93rd minute when a big punt was headed in. The time of the goal was disappointing as it was probably the time added on for Marshall to be sent off.

Part two of the Hun and Tim show came after a game against Hibs where we should have taken three points. We trooped off to Ibrox looking for our seventh draw of the season. £13 with no concessions was what we were overcharged this time. At least we weren't shoved in the corner. The view from right behind the goal at the back is excellent. Shame about what was to our left.

The game kicked off and we looked fairly comfortable at the back with only a few scares. McSkimming missed a great chance to put us one nil up but he missed the target. In 63 minutes against Hibs and the entire game against Rangers the opposition goakeeper didn't have a serious save to make. This tells us how much we've improved since last season! In the second half Laudrup scored a stunner. Why he plays for a team like Rangers is a mystery to the rest of the world. The next four were very sloppy goals to concede but the game was over as soon as it was 2-0. We never looked like scoring and if we were honest it was 5-0 going on ten. I just hope we've learned not to try and pass it about in front of our own eighteen yard box. In recent weeks several goals have been lost due to our own mistakes. We don't need to give the opposition any more help.
