Are we wearing the wrong strip?

C:WindowsTempphpC6F5.tmp

Our new away strip is unlike anything we have ever had before. But does it affect our performance? This distinguished has been with us for just over five months, so how are we doing in it? The answer has to be very poorly. Below, I have listed all the games we have played in "fluorescent lemon".

Celtic (h) 2-3 Points = 0
A pretty good performance, two good goals from Tommy Coyne gave us the advantage, but Greig Denham's sending off eventually cost us a point.

Rangers (a) 2-2 Points = 1
We defended well and goals from TC and a Shivute header gave us a deserved point.

Dundee Utd (a) 0-4 Points = 0
We were rubbish. One of the worst performances of the season.

Hearts (a) 0-2 Points = 0
We set out to defend, lost a goal to a soft penalty which also lost us Kevin Christie. After that we never looked like getting anything.

Aberdeen (a) Points = 0
This is the most solid proof yet. We gave as good as we got, hit the bar, had a couple of penalties turned down and lost three goals on the break to a team with only two victories in the last thirty odd games. Me? Paranoid? Never!

Total Points = 1

As you can see, our record is not good. In fact it is rotten. We have taken a measly one point from a possible fifteen. I am beginning to suspect that there are inhuman powers at work here! Not only were there problems with the stock and the poor material that it's made of, super powers that live inside that strange fabric magically prevent our heroes playing like gods. Anyway, I'll keep praying that we don't wear the "cursed" strip at Dumbarton in between banging my head off the wall and talking to little green pixies!
