Clyde Preview

To be honest it’s very hard to say. Clyde have had some good years in the First Division recently but they have been struggling financially and they lost their manager and several first team players. Their new manager is Terry’s old pal Graham Roberts who will be eager to see how his team copes with the challenge we’ll bring.

Faddy opened the scoring in the last meeting
We could meet a couple of familiar faces in the game; Gary Bollan was on the Fir Park books for a while even if he didn’t play much and former reserve captain Chris Higgins will be looking to make his mark on first team football at Broadwood.

It’s a 7.30pm kick off tonight and it only costs £8 to get in so if you’re looking to kill an evening this could well be an enjoyable way of doing so. We have a full squad, McBride apart, to choose from although Corrigan and Leitch will be carefully looked after due to their knocks gained in previous games.

No doubt Terry will again be viewing this mainly as a fitness exercise but the players should be getting sharper and it will also be used to blood more youngsters. It should be a comfortable enough win – 2-0 to Motherwell.
