Alan Provan reported sales of the first batch of scarves as ‘brisk’ this afternoon. He was also anticipating deliveries of flags, tee shirts and the like next week. He resisted the idea of jumping on the bandwagon last week, and choose to order merchandise of a higher quality than was instantly available.

The final will be a will generate a lot of interest from fans wanting to own a keepsake of the day at Hampden. Buying from the official shop is the route fans should take if they wish to support the club with their cash. No doubt the town centre will have many folk selling claret and amber flags as the game approaches but the club shop should be the place to visit for the official souvenirs.

There is, as yet, no indication of arrangements for ticket sales for the game on March 20.
