Dundee Preview

A start for Jim?
Our last visit to Dens was in sunny, warm August and a McDonald double secured all three points. Since then a further twenty games have seen differing fortunes for the teams. While our interest has been in establishing a place in the top six , Dundee have been more concerned with escaping the drop zone.

We will see the unusual sight of a ‘Well starting eleven without Martyn Corrigan. The rest of the regulars should be available and Jim Hamilton will be keen to make his mark. The smart money has to be on McDonald and Hamilton starting with Clarkson on the bench.

Dundee
don’t have their troubles to seek. There are many reports about an injury crisis which will limit Duffy’s options especially in defence. Wilkie is recovering from an ankle strain, Robb’s hamstring is still mending and Sancho played in the midweek game in Port of Spain. There seems to be some doubt about the time of his return.

The Fir Park dressing room must have been a little quiet this week. The coaches and four players were on international duties but the focus has now to be on the three games which lie ahead inside the next week. We have had two victories already against Dundee this campaign and there is seems to be no reason not to optimistic about our chances on Saturday. 2-1 to the Mighty ‘Well.
