Fir Park Open Day 2019

Hundreds of Motherwell fans visited Fir Park on Saturday to meet the players, admire the new pitch, play on bouncy castles and browse the many stalls lined up behind the South Stand.

It was a familly day out and the youngsters, many sporting claret and amber strips, had plenty of activities to draw their attention.  There were games on the astroturf, pony rides and first aid lessons.

The police had kids dressed in riot gear and there was a display of birds of prey.

Naturally there was a clamour to secure the autographs of players who, along with Steelman, made themselves available for a stream of selfies.

There was no access to the majority of the stadium and little opportunity to roam around the ground but the food stalls and the outdoor bar seemed to satisfy those in need of a snack.
