Don’t tell the weans but Scott Mullen was up until just after the CIS cup final Motherwell FC’s mascot Claret the Bear, his timing was clearly marvellous in this case. On the field it’s another story, yet somehow he’s managed to play fortnightly on the Fir Park surface/quagmire for the last 2 years.

Another bit part player following the move into the jobs market, the Mullen Rogue will return to the Fir Park Corner squad for Leeds. Last year, Scott threw up not in the toilet, nor the sink but his bedroom floor, classy. He was still able to score over the course of the weekend possibly down to his Garry O'Connor style highlighted locks, that goal by the way was a tap in from 2 yards against Everton. He decided to drive him from Leeds via Manchester, John Hendry insists he’s a poor driver but Gav Wallace did say Manchester was brilliant.
