Free Transport to Clyde Cup Game

Supporters wishing to book seats should phone Lynne McKay at Fir Park (01698 333333) by Thursday 20 February. Supporters Associations will have the cost of their transport reimbursed but they should make their arrangements known to Lynne to help in coordination.

Regular fans will appreciate the savings to be made at during this cup run (let’s hope we have a few more games to come). Those on the busses will not only escape the car parking fee at Broadwood (£2), they will be able to take advantage of the relatively low admission prices (£14 Adults £7 Concessions). No tickets required either, its pay at the gate.

Speaking on Thursday, Lynne said, “Bookings for seats are coming in at a steady rate. It was great to see the convoy of Motherwell busses leave Rugby Park full of happy fans. Another similar result at Broadwood will do nicely”.

One of the standard clichés in football is that ‘cup games provide a welcome distraction from the league’. In Motherwell’s present position in the SPL there is no doubt that the fans will turn out in large numbers to support the team’s attempt to reach the quarter finals.
