Motherwell have a series of four warm-up matches before the Betfred Cup kicks off in mid-July. We’ll have a first chance to spot the new faces on Saturday at Forthbank
The squad returns from the training camp outside Dublin to continue preparations against lower league opposition. The schedule is

While these matches give us a chance to see our new signings and old favourites in action they offer little else. Frequent substitutions, squad rotation and gentle challenges make for poor entertainment but a hardly core will still make the effort to see the latest edition of the Mighty Well take shape.
The Fir Park ground staff will be pleased to see that the pitch will not be used until the second round of the Betfred group stage when Morton visit on Saturday 22 July.
