GLF Preview

Last updated : 07 February 2003 By Chris Hutton

Two bits of great news as I watch the snow disappear for the weekend - we can get back to Fir Park for the first game in what feels like an age, and I can stop panicking about still having a boxful of unsellable GLF's still sitting in our kitchen come Saturday night!

We bounce back from the winter break with ten contributors filling this 44-page issue. All your usual favourites are here, from Terry's All Gold to A View From Behind the Goal and Top Ten Ted to Ricky's Rant.

A big welcome back too to Mr Andy Paterson who extols the merits of Terry Butcher, and a first contribution from Top Ten Ted Jnr, Jamie Ferguson, who shows he's got the right feelings to be a 'Well fan.

As usual, yours truly manages to stick the hoodoo on another of the players with a glowing thumbs up of Francois DuBordeau making the number one spot his own. After posting it on the Monday, Francois decided 48 hours later to display another side to his game at Rugby Park............

Including a pictorial celebration of our Boxing Day humbling of the other half of the Old Firm, issue 47 will be on the streets before the Hibs game courtesy of your hardy sellers. And my wife's got the cheek to worry about those poor wee footballers who have to run about for 90 minutes in shorts and t-shirt - spare a thought for Andy, Graham, Derek and me stood out in it for an hour and part with a quid - see you there!!!!!!

Cheers

Christopher
