Hearts Preview

Hearts are the visitors to Fir Park this week and after Hibs pinched a win on our home opener, we will be anxious to avoid another loss in front of our own fans. The matches between Hearts and ourselves were all tight last year with three draws preceding the Jambos narrow 3-2 win on the last day of the season.

Any excuse will do to show this...Kaiser makes it 5-1 v Hearts!
The visitors have made an excellent start to the season with seven points collected out of a possible nine. They have not conceded a goal in three games and the only small blemish on their record is a 0-0 home draw with the equally frugal Aberdeen.

We should have taken something from the Hibs game but we managed to keep our heads up despite that defeat and gain a vital three points at Dens Park. The win at Morton should keep us ticking over nicely but it did come at a cost. Jim Paterson limped off after a couple of questionable tackles and Scott Leitch also needs to shake off a knock if he is to make the game.

A full strength team will greatly improve our chances of adding to our points total and it is important to avoid defeat to keep our momentum going. This looks like a good bet to be our first draw of the season – 1-1.
