Hibs Preview

While the result of the game may, as yet, be unknown there is no surprise at the silly gate prices being charged by our hosts. They don’t seem to care whether visiting fans visit.

On the park we could see the debut of Jason Dair, though which position he will occupy is open to debate. There are no reported injuries from the squad which took a point against Thistle a fortnight ago and the only forced change has been caused by McFadden’s departure.

The number ten jersey is now unallocated but the number nine jersey has fallen to Dair. Whether he will get the nod ahead of Clarkson will be a matter for debate as the travelling faithful pass along the M8.

Stephen Pearson, newly returned from a successful U21 trip to Germany, will be cheered by Wednesday’s news from the SFA. The award of a red card last outing has been reduced to a caution and he is therefore eligible to play.

Easter Road is not a happy hunting ground for the Mighty ‘Well. Our record there is nothing short of woeful. One league win in ten years hardly inspires confidence in the result and there is little doubt that we would grab a point with glee. 1-1.
