Junior Striker Steps Up

Last week's Central Fife Times (renown for its in depth coverage of the Fife Juniors!) reported that he had made a scoring farewell in his last game having "turned senior with Motherwell".

Martin joined the Cardenden team at the start of last season when they won the East Region Central Division league. He played in thirty three games and scored a remarkable thirty two goals.

Previous clubs include Kettle United AFC and the junior side Hill of Beath. He has also made an appearance for East Fife. There's no doubt that last season's impressive season has brought him much attention and as a result 'The Greek', as he is known, has been training with Motherwell.

Let's hope he does as well as the last striker we took from the juniors.
