And the decision is not a good one from a Motherwell point of view. Keith has decided to accept Plymouth Argyle's offer of a two year contract and our midfield is looking decidedly threadbare.
Keith has developed into an excellent midfielder who is capable of playing either in the middle of the park or on the right hand side. Out of the three players who have left for 'better' things, there is no doubt that Lasley will be the hardest to replace.
So, Terry Butcher has done fairly well in the past when it comes to bringing in new players and if we are to enjoy any kind of success next season, this trend will need to continue. We wish Keith the best and thank him for his efforts but as of now it is time to look forward!
