Keith left us at the end of season 2003/4 for the southern climes of Plymouth Argyle. He had been at Fir Park for five years and showed lots of potential. He was on loan at Blackpool last season and arrived on trial at Kilmarnock in July.

The threadbare nature of our squad was on show in Paisley when a more committed but hardly impressive St Mirren team demonstrated how to polish off weaker opposition.

Whether he makes a return or not, it was good to see one of our former youngsters taking an interest in his old team.
