Look back at Killie

What a difference a win makes. We appoached the game with the knowledge that we had played two, lost two and had scored none. It was expected that we would be close to full strength with McFadden and Adams back in the team. The manager was on record saying that we would need at least four points from the next two home games. The pressure was on. But the squad delivered.

Three points were won with Pearo's last minute header and the joy was unconfined. It was great to see Fir Park explode with players and fans cheering the win. Not only had we deserved the success, but the Man of the Match scored the goal and he did it in front of the Cooper Stand.

Scott Leitch said after the game, "We put on a great show for all who were at the game today and this is a very happy club as we are playing football in the right way".

Corrigan looked comfortable for the first time this campaign. The shuffle of the back four which lead to his positioning in the centre of defence caused him to play in his favoured position. Surely TB must make the move a permanent one?

The team will enjoy the week ahead and they should look forward to the Thistle match. Two home wins on the trot and we can believe that the season has started.
