McCall rings the changes

It's possible that we'll get a look a both new signings at some stage in Saturday's home game against Hibs.

At Thursday's pre-match meeting with the press McCall said of Grella: "Leeds have got high hopes for him. I spoke to a few players and the staff down there, who rate him highly.

Leeds have four or five strikers all in form. The kid is hungry to play football and we're delighted to have him. He can go in behind, he can come to feet, he is quite a strong boy. He has two good feet and can score with regularity - hopefully."

Jones, a 34 left winger, has won 29 caps for Northern Ireland and played under McCall at Bradford two seasons ago and the manager was hopeful about the impact he could make.

"I know Steve well as a player and what he can bring to the team. He's got a trick or two and I think the fans will take to him. He is a naturally left-sided player, something we've been crying out for, and I am hopeful he will fill that gap. I don't think this is the end of the new faces either. I've got more lined up to come in so we'll see what happens in the coming days."

Our man has been racking up the miles in an attempt to replace the three players who have already departed in this window and he suggested that a left sided centre back is next on the list.
