Motherwell Quartet Mostly on the Sidelines

Happy Boy!
Our highlight was Shaun Fagan’s debut for the U21s at Broadwood. The midfielder received a late call up and started the game against Norway. The twenty year old has made ten appearances (seven from the bench) this season and Rainer Bonhof seems to have noticed his progress.

Shaun was replaced by David Clarkson in the second half but the game ended in a 2-0 defeat for the Scotland youngsters. Willie Kinniburgh was an unused substitute.

Stephen Craigan made the long haul to Azerbaijan but spent ninety minutes on the substitute’s bench. Northern Ireland secured a point in a goalless draw.

Let’s hope for more action from the Motherwell boys next midweek when their squads complete the international double headers. And let’s hope the return hungry for the game against Rangers next Sunday.
