Our third signing of the close season joined the ranks in claret and amber today. Craig Tanner, a 22 year old attacking midfielder, has accepted a two year deal and was unveiled on the club website.
Craig came through the ranks at Reading and joins Motherwell after loan spells first at AFC Wimbleon and then at Plymouth where he contributed half a dozen goals in the season just ended.

Stephen Robinson had given him a tour of Fir Park a few weeks ago and impressed the young prospect with his plans. Carl McHugh, a team mate from Plymouth, encouraged the midfielder to make the move and the deal was done.
Robinson said of his latest signing, “He can unlock doors, playing in little pockets across the front three, left side/right side or in behind the striker.”
Alan Burrows commented on twitter that he will not be the only signing this week.
