Next Up - Paisley

They came from behind in the Highlands with the help of some slipshod defending, Kean got the equaliser and Sutton prodded home what was to become the winner.

Our meetings with them last season will not give a realistic sense of their current style. Charlie Adam is gone (don't we know it!) and newcomer Garry Brady started in midfield. Neither Mehmet or Milne made the squad. Corcoran, who caused us a fair bit of bother last season, was a non-playing substitute.

They formed up in 3-5-2 formation and, by all accounts, their defence was impressive. It held firm under early pressure and was able to withstand late pressure as ICT tried to salvage a point. Chris Smith was in goal while Bullock was on the bench.

Many pundits predict that St Mirren will be in the mix at the bottom of the table by the season's end. With an away win already under their belt and an under strength Motherwell team at Love St next, we will have our work cut out to avoid trailing them by six points after two games in this new campaign.
