No Need to panic –yet!

There must be some concern about the plan being swallowed by our future opponents. Will they be convinced that we are capable of scoring only one goal in our three pre-season encounters to date? A late Paterson strike against Ross County followed by blanks with Crusaders and Ballymena is hardly creditable – is it?

The defence seems to be holding firm though and Smith had a clean sheet in Tuesday's encounter at Ballymena. There must be some concern arising after Hamilton had to be replaced following a head knock. O'Donnell was subbed with twenty minutes remaining and Kerr lasted for ninety.

In truth we all know that judgements about our prospects can only be made with any confidence after the season is underway and the squad is tested in competition.

The tour move on to Larne for Friday's game. Maybe we'll let our guard down and score a few!
