The transfer speculation surrounding him will not make the back pages this week but the dressing room chatter about life in the English Premier League will not go unnoticed by our latest rising star.

Now recovered from the niggling heel injury which caused him some difficulty at the start of the season, Stephen has enjoyed a purple patch in contributing the the Steelmen’s efforts in the SPL.

Interest in his next contractual decision is well documented and was highlighted at Dens on Saturday when Mr Sounness took his seat in the stand. By his recent high standards Stephen had a fairly quiet game though there were some impressive moves in the first half when he appeared to ghost by opponents as though he did not notice their presence.
