Preview: Hibs (a)

While it would obviously be nice to end on a win, or at least a draw, it hardly matters in the slightest. We are already in the UEFA Cup and thoughts are turning to the glamorous locations we could be visiting in the autumn. Sadly, discussions are already getting under way about just who will be leaving Fir Park in the summer, not least if Mark McGhee will still be here, so this match is rather getting in the way of all the gossip.

On the pitch we will have our usual selection to choose from with the exception of Quinn. Porter might not be risked as a booking will see him suspended next season. Murphy could be leading the group of youngsters looking for first team experience as he has been unlucky the three in front of him have rarely been injured to give him a chance.

Hibs will be missing Murray and Canning through suspension while Zemmama will be out with injury. It is hard to tell if they will give some youngsters a run as so many kids pop up in their team anyway. We cuffed them 4-2 in Leith in the League Cup but on our last visit in search of points more normal service resumed as we lost 1-0.

It would be a shame to end such a glorious season on a defeat but it would definitely not be the end of the world. We have much bigger things to worry about than a friendly in May so few people will be disappointed if we go down 1-0 once more.
