Preview - Falkirk (h)

It was mid September when Falkirk last played in Motherwell and little has changed. On that day we were eighth in the table and the Bairns were tenth, just as it is at present. Our five goal win propelled us up to sixth spot and if we are to regain that top half place by the ‘split’ then we need a repeat performance.

Spirits should be high after last week’s triumph in the snowy wastes of the Caledonian Stadium and with a decent home support urging them on we should have every chance.

Last time at Fir Park
Richie Foran will be looking to get on to the score sheet (yet again!).
He and Skippy are tied at ten apiece in the Hot Shot table. Maybe they will both be on target.

Falkirk have to deliver a better performance than they did in the September drubbing. Since then their away form has picked up and they have managed five wins on the road. Just as well, since they have still to break the duck at home.

One lucky fan could be driving home in a new car courtesy of the lucky programme draw, there will be a pipe band to entertain and a bumper crowd drawn in by the cut price entry. An exciting game is in prospect an with any luck we’ll see a 2-0 win for the ‘Well.
