Preview: Celtic (h)

While Mark McGhee surely won't be quite so casual as that, there is a clear feeling that this match is just getting in the way of the main event. However, there are crucial league points at stake and given we have only four from 12 so far, and a trip to Ibrox next Sunday, it would be a brave, brave move to throw the towel in before we start.

Porter comes close

We have new signing Klimpl to consider bringing into the side in defence and given how little cover we have there, protecting one of our central defenders might be considered. There are more options further up the pitch though as Malcolm, Smith, Fitzpatrick and O'Brien could all be considered.

Celtic are visiting following an absolute cuffing at home to Rangers and while the pause might have calmed their fury somewhat, they will be very anxious not to slip up again. Naylor will be out injured but though Venegoor of Hesselink is suspended, Scott McDonald is likely to return. Good job he never scores against us. Oh wait, that other thing…

We will need to give everything in this game and to be honest the players could well be excused for having one eye on Thursday. Celtic have done just enough to take the points home with them on their last few visits and that habit could continue here - 1-0 to the eastenders team.

Remember the last time Celtic visited Fir Park?
