Preview: Inverness (a)

We were helped last November by the home team's indiscipline, they were reduced to nine men for the last half hour, but we are unlikely to be the recipients of such generosity this time.

Mark McGhee has a couple of problems to solve. Craigan's groin injury and Quinn's automatic suspension mean that our back line will be a patched up job. It is probable that Bob Malcolm will be placed in central defence and, for the third game in a row, Lasley will find himself at right back.

We started with four strikers at Rugby Park last week but failed to score. The manager hinted that he might consider reverting to last season's successful 'three up' formation. We'll know around two thirty on Saturday.

ICT lie beside us in the table, separated only by their better goal difference. They also have defensive concerns. McGuire was injured last week and he'll miss out on Saturday.

The game will be shown on BBC Alba from 7.30pm on Saturday evening so those who can make the long haul northwards will have a chance to catch the game - though what they will make of the commentary is another matter!

If our top six ambitions are to be reached then we have to look for the win and take that attitude that we need to score more than the opposition. Let's hope for a 3-2 win.
