The players have to forget the midweek Uefa Cup tie and set about taking something from this SPL fixture. Our record at Ibrox is poor, it has been over ten years since we won there, though there have been several draws over the years.

Motherwell at Ibrox

There are no reported injuries following Thursday's tie and our only real concern will be the so called 'european hangover', a phenomenon we have not had to consider for a long, long time! . Have the team recovered both physically and mentally from their exertions?

Walter Smith has far more flexibility in his choice of starting eleven than our man. It is reported that Lafferty and Thomson are now available though Papac is suspended.

This is a game that few expect us to win and odds of the order of 12/1 are available for a 'Well victory. At times we have to accept that the bookies rarely get it wrong and it's hard argue this time. 2-0 to the home side.
