Scottish Cup Quarter Finals - The Draw

Last updated : 03 February 2008 By Firparkcorner

The full draw, made at Easter Road by George Burley and Darren Jackson after Sunday's game, is

Queen of the South v Motherwell or Dundee

Ross County or St Johnstone v St Mirren or Dundee United

Hibs or Rangers v Livingston or Partick Thistle

Aberdeen v Celtic

The ties are due to be played on the weekend of March 8 but the fixture pile up and the weather might force a few games to be moved.

We last played the Doonhamers in the cup almost a year ago (7 February 2007) and we won the fourth round tie 3-2. We were three up at half time but had to bite our nails at the end as their two second half goals caused a bit of concern!

Our recent quarter final record had not been anything to crow about. Most recent was the defeat to St Johnstone last season. Looking further back we lost, again at Fir Park, to Inverness in 2004 and we have to go to 2003 for a win, this time away to Stranraer.

The cup run so far….
