Season ticket roundup

A quick tour round some of the official club sites produced some interesting reading. Most offer earlybird reductions and Falkirk win the prize for the cheapest adult ticket.

Aberdeen's lowest adult seat can be had for £228 (£208 until the end of June). Concessions are available to under 18s and over 60s. No cup ties are included.

Dundee United have set their lowest adult price at a pricey £360 though they discount heavily to £270 for early purchase. No cup games are included and a cup top up is available for £40. Their senior citizen prices kick in at age 60 and juvenile rates are available for under 18s.

Falkirk offer a fantastic adult ticket in their east stand for £180 (£160 until 23 May). All SPL, Stirlingshire Cup and one friendly match are included. Primary school kids with a season ticket will receive a replica shirt.

Hearts offer an adult ticket for all SPL games for £275 (£250 until 12 May). A £30 cup top up is available if bought at the same time as the book. They also have a category B ticket for £200 (£180 earlybird) which excludes visits from Rangers, Celtic and Hibs. Concessions are available for U18s but senior concessions apply for men at 65 and women at 60.

Hibs charge a steep £355 for their lowest adult price. Their cup top up is £55 and looks like a huge gamble! The only inducement for early purchase seems to be a £5 discount voucher on an away strip. Poor stuff.

Motherwell's 'Getting to know you' leaflet suggests that an exciting initiative will be launched very soon. Anything which reduces the cost of attending football matches is to be welcomed and no doubt the club's offering will be judged firstly on that principle.
