Boyle’s dream of creating the third force and the loss of the $ky TV deal left the club losing, by some estimates, £250,000 a month. The eventual exit from administration was assured as the owner choose to accept the loss of his £9M investment and now, ten years on, his stated hope that the club should belong to the community is about to be realised.
