Three in at Fir Park

As the winter transfer window enters the last few days Motherwell joined the party with three in and one out.  We'll need to hope that no late offers arrive for our key players .

Elliott Frear is a 26 year old left -sided winger bought from Forest Green Rovers for an undisclosed fee.  We showed interest in him last summer and he has now agreed a two and a half year deal that will keep him with us until the summer of 2019.  The manager will be hoping that he biulds a productive on field relationship with Louis Moult.

Russell Griffiths fills the vacancy created by the departure of Dean Brill.  The 20 year old goalkeeper is on loan from Everton (though he has been with Cheltenham for most of this season).  The agreement will keep him here until May.

The manager has made no secret of our need for a central defender and he may have sourced a good one as Zak Jules is now with us on loan from Reading until the end of the season.  He's a highly rated 19 year old Scotland U21 player. He's 6'3",  left footed and he will be in the squad for Saturday's match with Rangers along with the orther two arrivals.

Dylan Mackin has been moved to Alloa on loan until the end of the season.  He has been scoring for fun in the U20s and a run of first team action will greatly aid his development.

The fabled Luka Belic has returned to West Ham  as his loan spell has ended.

There are a few days left until the window closes.  Will we see any more movement?
