The club has announced a new shirt sponsor, The Untouchables. The local DIY chain, based in Motherwell, has agreed a two year deal.
Since the troubled electronics firm, Motorola, ended its eleven year relationship with the Mighty 'Well at the end of last season the search has been ongoing to find a replacement.

The new strips were introduced to supporters last week at the launch of the season ticket drive and it looked like fans would have an opportunity of buying a 'pure' claret and amber strip, free of a sponsor's logo.
Nevertheless the deal has to be welcomed. A healthy injection of cash will swell the coffers. Bryan Jackson, the administrator appointed to run Motherwell FC, said: “We are delighted to have secured a sponsor for the club, particularly since the arrangement will cover the next two seasons. It was vital for the club to find a sponsor and the revenue will mean a significant boost to the club’s finances.”
