Up for the Cups by Bus

Last updated : 20 December 2004 By Firparkcorner

The Kilmarnock trip comes first as we embark on the Scottish Cup trail on January 8. Both clubs agreed to reduce admission prices to this third round tie and the gate prices will be £15 with concessions gaining entry for £10. Seats cannot be booked by phone.  The two pounds fee has to be paid at the time of booking, so personal callers only though payment will be accepted by post.  Fans can also book by contacting any Supporters Association branch.

The Cooper Suite will be open from 11am until the departure of the buses at 1pm and the Pie and a Pint deal will be in operation.

The CIS cup semi final against Hearts at Easter Road on Tuesday 1st February will also have subsidised transport. Again £2 will reserve a seat but in a tongue in cheek response to the club’s protest at the lack of concession tickets for the tie there will be no charge for OAPs who choose to travel with the club’s bus.

This is an excellent move by the club and they are to be congratulated for the initiative.
