Saturday’s game featured Inverness and Dunfermline and a paltry 13255 spectators rattled round a national stadium which was three quarters empty.

'Well fans pour into Hampden last year.

Where were all the fans? Easter shopping? Watching on subscription television? Or just not interested? Motherwell fans will easily remember the sunny day last year when we played the other half of the Old Firm in the cup semi. Even then the attendance failed to beat the thirty thousand barrier.
Dundee and ICT competed in the other semi last year and almost reached fifteen thousand.
