Prediction - Aberdeen (h)

For the first time in many a month we have the opportunity to leap frog another side in the table. If results went for us over this week-end we could in fact be ninth albeit only on goal difference. Whatever happens, it is clear that when the split occurs there are going to be at least 5 sides in the bottom half fixtures scrapping for every available point. From Motherwell’s point of view the worrying statistic is the well documented one of not having beaten a bottom six side all season. That has to change!

Woodsie takes care of the Dons’ strike force

Aberdeen visit on Saturday for the fourth meeting with Motherwell this season. No wins yet for the ‘Well but four wins and a draw in our last five home games compared against the Dons’ one away win since their last visit to Fir Park on Oct 5th suggests there is a real possibility of us breaking the bottom six jinx on Saturday.

We are creating plenty of goal scoring opportunities at the moment and the defence seems to be finding a consistency that was not evident earlier in the season. If we can put the ball in the back of the net twice it could be enough to snatch another welcome three points.
