Prediction v Aberdeen

He's back!
So what is in store for Saturday at Aberdeen? The confidence will be up and the prospect of getting off the foot of the table should help the whole side focus on putting in a good performance. It is important that we use Wednesday night as a launch pad to better things for the rest of the season. We know all to well that one great result does not ensure that others will follow. It is only through producing the same level of performance week in week out that ensures points are gained on a regular basis.

Is it a good or bad time to be playing Aberdeen? We can help anybody out of a slump and the Dons are experiencing a fairly torrid one at the moment. The manager is packing his bags and the last time they won a game of any sort was the 3-1 win against Motherwell in early Nov in the League Cup. The last time they won a league game was 5 Oct, 2-1 against, yes you’ve guessed it, Motherwell! So they should be looking forward to us paying them a visit again. They probably really do wish they could play us every week.

Suspensions could hurt us but hopefully they will be compensated for by another good performance from McFadden. It seems to be that if he plays well the rest of the side play well so great his is influence.

As to a result it would be great to get all 3 points but I would be happy with the draw to keep our unbeaten run going. Perhaps an entertaining 2-2?

Aberdeen 2 - 2 Motherwell
