Prediction v Dundee (a)

Last updated : 12 December 2002 By Phil Swainston

The squad is still a bit stretched due to injuries and suspensions but the good news is that some fringe players have put in solid performances over the last couple of weeks, with the highlight being Kinniburgh’s equaliser last Saturday. The pressure on the team has visibly lifted and they are beginning to play again with renewed confidence and application. However it is important that they are made to realise that there is still a long way back to avoid relegation and the performances must be maintained at the same level for the remainder of the season.

The major worry for Saturday is the fact that Dundee have a solid home record this season. They have a decent bunch of players and are capable of creating plenty of chances against us so we will have to be on top of our game if we are to take anything from Dens Park

If we play to our capabilities a draw is a possibility, however I think a narrow defeat may be the more likely outcome.

Dundee 2 - 1 Motherwell
