Prediction v Livingston (h)

By all accounts we did ok against Rangers and certainly had plenty of possession. It was disappointing that we picked up more yellow cards and a red, especially in a fixture that was not going to yield any points even if we had kept all 11 on the park. I still fear that suspensions could cost us valuable points that we cannot afford to lose in a tight relegation struggle.

TB and the mystery man
Talking of suspensions McFadden is again sitting out on Saturday (I think) so the creativity up front is going to have to come from somewhere else. Will we have enough up front to put the ball in the net?

Livingston have certainly come back down to earth with a bump but there impressive come back against Dundee Utd will have done their confidence no harm. They will be eagerly looking forward to their visit to Fir Park determined to take all 3 points to start a quick climb away from the bottom of the league.

We will have to show the same sort of commitment and determination to take some sort of reward from this game. Good performances are important but occasionally there are games where more is gained from just battling it out with the opposition. Let’s not worry how ugly the football is over the next few fixtures, it is points on the board what matters. I don’t want to start to hear the dreaded phrase “ too good to go down”.

A fighting draw on Saturday.
