Andy's C&A View

Livi on the first day saw a spirited comeback from 3-0 down to reduce the deficit to 3-2 but after that I felt we never threatened the Livi back line. I wasn't able to attend the Thistle game due to earlier commitments but from what friends have told me it was a far from impressive showing and we were lucky to escape with anything from the match. On Saturday, despite a worrying period after the first goal we gained our first three points with a fantastic 3-0 victory at Rugby Park. This puts us in good stead for our second tough away game in a row against a Dundee United side who have not made a very impressive start.

TV deal farce

Being in a poor financial situation is hard but when you have two teams who have spent more money on over rated foreigners than most clubs in the SPL are worth I think it’s ridiculous they can hold back the rest of Scotland's biggest clubs. Craig (fellow writer) and I have different views on how the other ten clubs could function without the old firm and we have plans for pieces on our arguments for and against the old firm leaving the Scottish game.

No Owner Better Finances

Good to hear Bryan Jackson's comments a few weeks ago predicting that the club should break even this season and that some funds may be available for transfers. Rally round and keep up the support and nobody will "Take Our Motherwell Away"
