Tam's Tantrum - Money, Money, Money

While their tickets for home fans are obviously cheaper – yet again they have left us to pay nineteen pounds for our kids due to their Scrooge-like attitude to away supporters. There is no difference between our kids and their’s - apart from our obviously superior mental capabilities. The only thing I can put it down to is that Lorenzo Amoruso is in need of more hair gel (or is he just a big greasy Italian as most of my female friends seem to think?) or perhaps Fernando Ricksen’s wife needs some new make-up? Those who have seen her delightful coupon will obviously understand the high cost of maintenance.

So get your finger out John McLelland/David Murray – your own supporters aren’t smart enough to see they’re being screwed left, right and centre, but us ‘Well fans from the ‘Shire know a con artist when we see one. Right now Rangers Football Club is that collective con artist – get your act together and think of the fans for a change – something you always claim to be doing.

The proof will be in the pudding – though it’s not likely to be this season.

Happy Days Are Here Again
You better believe it! No they’re not giving away 50/50 tickets. It’s cup weekend again. The Scottish Cup seems to be the competition we’re carrying our luck with this season. It’s a subsidised awayday to the seaside at that centre of the football universe - Stranraer, which also provides regular ferries to throw yourself from if the very worst was to happen – now that’s what I call considerate.

All joking aside – this is a good chance to have a great day away and hopefully witness our successful progression into the semi-finals – bring back any pleasant memories anyone? It’s good to see tickets are selling extremely well, but if you haven’t got one already – get your finger out and get one pronto! We are also carrying a good away support with us in the cup this season, so keep it up and let’s not let the boy’s down when they need us most.

Any Bugbears?
It’s time we began to hear a bit more from you fans about anything that’s bugging you about the ‘Well just now. Do you want more information about the Trust, any ideas on how to improve things at the club, your opinions on John Boyle’s impending return to the “Hot Seat”. If you have any good ideas/opinions regarding anything, either e-mail me at Firparkcorner.com or send your queries/comments to me at the club programme where we can possibly bring more attention to you and your thoughts in a more official platform, I look forward to hearing from you.

Yeah, it must be the time of year, but I certainly feel as if I’m becoming a bit of a pussycat. But with both a Rangers and a Celtic game approaching, I’m sure I’m going to have a good reason to have a right good rant in the very near future.

Speak to you soon,
Tam

p.s. Jim Traynor – You’re my next target – you’ve been uncharacteristically quiet recently.
