Tam's Tantrum - Silly Faddy

Faddy’s Big Mouth
As we slipped into the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup after a rather impressive second-half showing on Saturday and also saw the departure of Celtic from the competition just a day later, you ‘Well fans still walking around with the satisfied grins still on your faces might think I would have nothing to be annoyed about. Well you’d be wrong!!!!
Am I the only person who has the nerve to say that it is time to slap down the
“Golden Child” whose head and mouth seem to be getting bigger at an alarming rate. No matter how talented our James is, he is no good to us when he is stuck in the stand through pure unadulterated stupidity. We lost his services for the better part of a month already this season, and he is now telling the press how he is one booking away from a cup suspension – with a great big cheesy grin on his face.
If this kid is going to go places, it is time he grew up, kept his mouth shut and learnt that he is not going to attract the big clubs to watch him if his attitude keeps him sidelined for long periods of time.
It’s time for big Terry to slap him down - and remind him who still pays his wages!

Support, Support, Support…
No this isn’t a Wonderbra advert, it’s back to one of my main bugbears this season – support. Why can we take approximately 4,000 to every away cup match this season – against teams like Clyde and Stranraer, who are hardly big attractions, and struggle to get above this for our games at Fir Park. Is it the case that all the closet ‘Well fans have shown their faces again since there is a sniff of possible success and a definite trip to Hampden.
Shame on all of you! Being a ‘Well fan is about supporting your team through thick and thin, not just during the good times, and it’s about time you fair weather supporters realised this. If this is the case you would be better off being Celtic or Rangers fans if you want the easy life. You might get more success but there is no way supporters of either of these clubs will enjoy the “highs” a ‘Well fan does when success comes knocking.
I think it’s easy enough to predict there will be more ‘Well fans in Hampden than would fill Fir Park, I just hope they remember to show their faces after our cup run ends whether it is successful or unsuccessful.

In the ‘Well We Trust
Just to remind all you ‘Well fans of the inaugural Annual General Meeting of the Motherwell F.C. Supporters Society Limited. This will take place in the Davie Cooper Suite on Saturday 29th March at 1.00pm. If you haven’t already registered as a member of the trust yet, there is still plenty of time to do so. Ten pounds is a small price to pay to keep the club we love alive and to have a say in how we do it. Details of how to do this and who to contact can be obtained by calling the club.
So it’s yet again time for ‘Well fans to stand up and be counted – at the matches and in our support of the trust, so let’s show everyone that this club will be around for a long time to come.
Speak to you all again soon.
