Report: Dundee 2 'Well 0

We fell behind to a goal from Ketsbaia in five minutes. He won the ball in midfield and, untroubled by our defence, fired a swerving shot at Woods from around twenty five yards. Stevie got a hand to it but it ended up in the net.

Ref gives a foul!

The warning was there but went unheeded as he proceeded to score a similar goal twenty minutes later. Again he broke through the midfield and again he was allowed the luxury of a shot from twenty yards. The ball flew past the immobile Woods.

We could not setle on the ball, slack tackles and needless loss of possession through poor passing characterised our play.

But we were thrown a lifeline after half an hour. A throw in from the left into their box produced a penalty for a shove on Lehmann. But McFadden failed to send the keeper the wrong way (as he had at Perth the week before) and the side footed attempt was easily saved.

The second half started brightly. Not only had the sun appeared but we started to press the opposition goal. We forced a couple of early corners but had yet to force Speroni into a save.

The threat from Ketspaia remained and he had a couple of opportunities to get his hat trick from breakaways.

With twenty minutes left we had a double substitution with Elliott and Soloy replacing Ferrere and Martinez but the pattern of the game was unchanged.

Late on Lehmann was carried off and Derek Adams came on.

Overall it was a disappointing day and on this form the chance of a third away win of the season seems a long way off!
