Dynamo made the better start and took the lead with a nice finish after a sweeping move. FPC tried to get back into things but were caught out when Junior, playing in goals, missed a cross and left the attacker with a simple header.

The referee was having a bit of a nightmare and gifted FPC a great chance to pull one back. Dave H was set to pull the trigger when a defender made an excellent saving tackle, only for the ref to award a penalty. Dave took it himself and made the half time score 2-1.

FPC made some changes at the break and Craig P took over in goals allowing Junior to play outfield. Craig was first called into action to save a soft free kick but let it squirm under his body and in. FPC quickly went onto the attack and Junior scored a free kick, although he was helped by the Dynamo ‘keeper slipping. Dynamo had a player sent off for protesting about the free kick and FPC began to dominate. The equaliser came when Marshall miss-controlled a cross only to watch the poor ‘keeper wildly miss the ball with his kick to let the ball trundle home.

The game turned in a brief spell in the middle of the half. Mitch scored but had the goal chalked off for a handball offence. Shortly afterwards, Junior was wound up by a Dynamo player and was sent off after a handbag confrontation. FPC had lost all their momentum and from then on there was only one winner. Dynamo rattled in three more goals, although two came when FPC had Jammy in goals.

FPC twice came close to getting another goal, the ball appearing to cross the line and then bouncing around in the six yard box on one occasion and Del failing to get enough of his studs to the ball when lunging after Dave’s cross.

A bad day all round really.
